An optimal Low-Power High/Speed Operation of Data Dependent Permutation (DDP)Cobra H64-bit block cipher in layout level is presented in this paper. It based on reducing the power dissipation by using proper low power SPICE parameters and low power logic gates. The speed and performance of the new design are increased by inserting the pipelining technique in the internal rounds of Cobra blocks cipher. This achieved increasing the throughput from 5.5Gbps to 8.4Gbps and the frequency of the circuit increased from 90MHz to 140MHz. Simulation results based on layout level approved the validity of the proposed idea as well as we re-concluded that optimal low power, optimal Speed and performance could be achieved by using the layout level.
